Campbell Bocce League season comes to a close Friday when only one team will be singing “We Are The Champions”.

It was quite a Playoff when the Cannolis started the night by winning the Roll-Off 4-1 over the Posse, leaving the Posse in fourth place and facing the undefeated Rollverines. Captain June and her Rollverines Jamie, Gail, Leslie and Bob have all played incredibly well this past season but Captain Jill hustled an illustrious group of subs, Travis, Conor and Brendon to replace Garrett and Jim Woodcock for a decisive win 13-7.

The Cannolis aided by substitute Ellie having secured their third place position after winning the Roll-Off cremated second place Mission Imbocceball 12-5. So it’s the Rolling Cannolis who will face off against Pallino Posse Friday for the Championship.

The schedule will be drinks and appetizers at 6pm, followed by the third place game at 6:30 between the Rollverines and Mission Imbocceballs. We will break for dinner followed by the Championship Game. Finally we will have the awards ceremony.

Our theme is High Steaks, the menu is below. Please let me know what you can bring via email with a cc to everyone and I will post. Finally I absolutely would appreciate your RSVP. Let me know if you are coming or if you cannot attend. I have already heard from Scotty, Dianne and June & Rich that they are on vacation. Hope
